Photographs of Landscape

1) Using the macro lens was hard at first because the pictures were coming out blurry and we had trouble getting the camera to focus.

2) My favorite shot is the one of the dirt. I really like the variety of colors and the way the edges are blurred so it makes the viewer able to see the point of emphasis clearly.

3) The shot of the flower shows the best use of rule of thirds.

Cinemagraph

1) The concept was basically a person having fun blowing bubbles which came out pretty good.
2) I was more involved in the photographic (recording the video) and technical portion (creating the cinemagraph).
3) I would've used my time more efficiently
4) A lack of messing around would've made this project easier.
5) The dynamic was great. Everyone played a fair part in this project

Shooting Water

With flash questions: 1) While we were trying to get the shot it was amazingly difficult to focus the camera.

2) I liked how the we were able to balance the lighting

Without flash questions: 1) It was hard to get the exact point of where the water dropped along with the timing of the shot.

2) I liked the way the color reflected on the water.

Water drops with burst mode: 1) Using the burst helped out a lot because it was able to capture each frame with precision.

2) I liked the ease at which we were able to get the pictures

Colored water drops with burst mode: 1) Just like the last one the burst helped out a lot and the color gave a clear view of the drop.

2) I liked how the color drops looked when they hit the water.

Broaden Your View

1) Exploring what it feels like to be in that moment, incorporating creative use of lighting, and spacial consideration to build a nice connection within the image makes for good adventure photography.

2) Some things that I could photograph that'd fall under this category of photography would be local sporting games, kids at a playground, or even just people doing everyday activities at local shops or food places.

Final Project

Class Reflection

My creativity lies in the pictures i take not the editing. I use different angles to get variation in lighting and use a sense of depth to make my subjects look bigger or smaller which defines my image. My work is mainly a story of trying to pass the class, unless it comes from the images i upload from my trip. Then it speaks volumes of the adventures I take and the fun I'm having in coast open spaces. However I could do better on meeting deadlines as there were about 8 assignments that were turned in late. I think missing school is the cause of this though so I'll try to be here more often. I feel like my class participation is up to par. There are times where I help the person next to me or ask for help. I do use my phone at times which could be minimized to make better use of my time. If I'm taking pictures of what i like or find aesthetically pleasing then I put a good amount of effort into it.
